M4SYS Inc. a specialized company leading spatial innovation in modular and high-performance building materials, announced that it has officially acquired a technology patent for its core solution, 'Hi-Green Sheet'.
The technology recently registered with the Korean Intellectual Property Office is titled 'Waterproofing Structure Using Artificial Turf (Patent No. 10-2929004)'. This is M4SYS's innovative hybrid construction method that resolves chronic problems the construction and waterproofing industries have faced for years, such as severe weather constraints, the use of toxic adhesives, and difficult, expensive maintenance.
The core of the Hi-Green Sheet patented technology lies in the 'adhesive-free Velcro fastening' that completely eliminates chemical adhesives. It embodies a smart method by integrating a special crimp (Velcro) layer on top of a top-grade modified asphalt waterproofing sheet, and then covering and pressing eco-friendly artificial turf on top without the need for glue.
"This patent acquisition is the result of national recognition for M4SYS's R&D efforts to create a safe and sustainable construction culture. Beyond a simple waterproofing material, Hi-Green Sheet will be the perfect solution to transform abandoned rooftops or idle spaces into green leisure areas all year round."
- Junhee Kim, CEO of M4SYS
As heavy rains and heatwaves become more frequent due to recent abnormal climates, the importance of waterproofing performance and insulation efficiency on building roofs and rooftops is emerging more than ever. Based on this patent registration, M4SYS plans to aggressively expand the supply of Hi-Green Sheet to various construction and remodeling markets, including apartments, government offices, schools, and commercial buildings.
We ask for your continued interest and support for M4SYS's endless innovation, providing the highest efficiency and beauty beyond the limits of space.
